Does Staring at a screen all day ruin your eyesight? By Goldberg CentreJune 13, 20180 Back to Home Contrary to common belief, the truth is that there is absolutely no medical evidence showing that screen time can affect your vision or cause permanent damage. However, like other muscles, your eyes do need breaks so we recommend a good practice is to try and take your eyes off of the screen every 20-30 minutes for short break. And, even though you won't get any permanent damage from screen time your eyes will likely feel some discomfort related to starting at a screen for hours on end. Other symptoms may include dry eyes, eyestrain, headache, and in some cases you may find some difficulty focusing. Back to Home
