Can I Travel After Laser Vision Correction?
You cannot travel directly after your Laser Vision Corrective Surgery.
In most cases, permission to travel by air will be given by the doctor at the 4 day post-operative appointment.
During this appointment your protective lenses (which are placed in your eyes during surgery) will be removed and an eye examination will be done to check on healing and progress.
It is advised that for maximum comfort when traveling by air you lubricate your eyes every 30 minutes.
This is due to the dry air in airplanes.
