Can I Swim After Laser Vision Correction?
You cannot swim directly after your Laser Vision Corrective Surgery.
In most cases you are able to take part in more water related activities one month after undergoing your surgery.
These activities include swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling and sailing.
However, there are some water related activities in which a 3 month wait time is required as during these activities there is a high risk of water being forced into the eyes.
These activities include water skiing, surfing, wind surfing and kayaking.
Eye protection must be worn when taking part in all water activities.
