Can I Drive After Laser Vision Correction?
You cannot drive directly after Laser Vision Corrective Surgery.
In most cases driving can commence after the 4 day follow up appointment is completed.
During this appointment the protective contact lenses that were put in during surgery will be removed.
An eye examination will then be performed to measure your current prescription.
If adequate vision is confirmed at this post-operative appointment, the doctor will then clear you to drive.
